The main draw of TŶ SEiDR for me is the absolutely incredible selection that they have on offer, but before I jump into that I wanted to point out the other cool things on offer.
Firstly, there are a selection of board games that are free to use so if you’re the kind of person that likes a social activity beyond conversation whilst you drink, this is definitely the place for you. According to their website, there are over 100 board games available and a quick glance over the list will confirm there’s a lot of variety there!
Secondly, they sell bottles as well as some pretty cool merchandise. I’ve currently got my eye on one of their hoodies.
I’ve been to a lot of bars in my time, and TŶ SEiDR is second to none when it comes to the breadth and quality of the range of cider that they have on offer.
When it comes to deciding which brands to stock, they do their homework (a noble effort) and on their website you can see exactly which cideries they’ve picked to stock from. There are household names such as Westons and Lilleys, but there are plenty of lesser known gems such as Broadoak and Newton Court. You’ll also find some locally sourced brands such as Snowdon.
Not that the selection needs expanding, but I think an appearance from Rosies Triple D Cider in the lineup would be absolutely perfect.
(If the team at TŶ SEiDR are reading this, I can personally vouch for Black Bart, Wicked Wasp and both the medium and sweet ciders)
(I also apologise if this is already sold and I just completely missed it. I will have to investigate on my next visit)
Anyway, back to the review.
If you remember TŶ SEiDR as Kanes, you’ll find the decor to be somewhat familiar, but it definitely has a different identity.
They’ve gone for a relatively clean base in terms of aesthetic, but they’ve then brought that to life with vibrant reds and greens. There’s even some neon in there to add to the vibe.
My personal favourite when it comes to the decor (not just for the message) is the feature wall on the left as you walk in:

There’s also lots of exposed stone throughout the bar, which definitely sets off all of the other features nicely.
Now that we’ve got the aesthetics covered, let’s chat about the actual drinks on offer.
I’ve only been into TŶ SEiDR once, but from what I’ve gathered there are a couple of things at play when it comes to their range:
Helpfully, their website features a list of ciders that they currently have on tap. From my experience, it’s a pretty diverse selection and you’re very likely to find at least one that you like in that list. If not, there’s always the huge selection of bottles to tuck into. Something on my list to try when I’m next there (very soon) is their own cider. It’s light and tropical so I can imagine it’ll go down well on a hot day.
If cider isn’t really your jam, they do also have a selection of craft ales which are just as high quality as the ciders. Similar to the cider selection, they stock a mix of bigger craft ale names as well as some more niche/lesser known ones. There’s also a healthy representation of local/Welsh brands such as Pollys (which is by far my favourite craft ale brewery).
Basically, the team at TŶ SEiDR have gone to a lot of effort to put together one of the most expansive selections of excellent quality craft ciders and ales - and that effort has absolutely paid off.

Would I recommend TŶ SEiDR?
Definitely.
I’ve only been in there once since the rebrand (having frequented it in the Kane’s days), but I’ve already been blown away by the vibe and selection of ciders.
It’s a little out of the way in terms of location, but it’s well worth the detour. You should absolutely go.
